Writing Practice FAQ
Quick answers before you start a session.
Should I choose HSK 2.0 or HSK 3.0?
Use HSK 2.0 if you are preparing for current HSK exams or using most existing textbooks. Use HSK 3.0 if your course or materials follow the newer syllabus.
What is My Vocabulary, and how do I add items?
My Vocabulary is your saved list of Chinese characters and words. Sign in, open any character or word page, then use the bookmark button to save it. In Writing Practice, choose My Vocabulary to practice everything you saved, or pick a specific vocabulary group if you organized your saved items.
What are My Decks, and how do I create one?
My Decks are your custom flashcard decks. Sign in, open Chinese Flashcards, go to Decks, and click New deck. After creating a deck, add cards manually or use Import from Vocabulary, then choose My Decks in Writing Practice for a focused handwriting queue.
How is this different from printable worksheets?
Writing Practice is for focused online sessions with stroke-order feedback and a moving queue. Printable worksheets are better when you want offline handwriting pages for repeated paper practice.
